The Hal Rosoff Classic went off this past weekend with great weather and perfect conditions for a flatwater race. Team Riviera had a great showing on the all new RP-Series Raceboards. The RP-14' and RP-12'6 are becoming the boards to beat here in SoCal and proving that they are among the fastest raceboards on the water.
The race site at NAC (newport Aquatic center) is a great place for a race, and there is a lot of history there. It is nice to have an event that welcomes experienced paddlers as well as the kids just getting into the sport.
Besides the adults on Team Riviera, the Junior team "The Paddle Academy" did great as well with all the kids having great races and pushing themselves... Their training with coach Mike Eisert has definetly been paying off and all the kids are really progressing at every race.
