This time of year in Southern California we get some really windy days. Days like this last Sunday would normally keep us out of the water, but 22 mph onshore winds are perfect conditions for a downwind paddle. We made a few calls to our Riviera Team riders and a few friends and loaded up the boat with 10 Paddlers and crew including Thomas "Maximus", Brian Haag, Brandon Rambo, Jason McIllwee, Chuck Patterson, Dane Deboer, Brad Rambo, Taylor Rambo, Kyle Kelley, and Brian Stockdale. The winds were kicking up some 3'-5' wind swell, and it took us about an hour to get 8 miles out. Once we flipped the boat around everyone bailed off the boat and we realized how good the wind swell was when paddlers would disappear in the trough of the waves. We took about a million photos, and picked out our favorites to post here on the site... Enjoy.
